BACK ON THE EAST COAST I'm back in the Eastern Time Zone after my near-week in California. Since I need to get to sleep shortly to do more travelling tomorrow (on to Radford) for my doctor's appointment, I'll keep this short and sweet just so that all of you who read this can be entertained (Yes, this means you Dan). Anyway, I really enjoyed my time over in California. The weather was pretty nice, except for that one day in Lake Tahoe for the bachelor's party. How the hell was I supposed to know that the weather was going to be 50 degrees and cloudy. Needless to say, I need to stay close to the fire we started in the cabin we partied at. I also lost 20 bucks playing the slots, but that's because I spent WAAAAAY too much money on the damn strippers. I was rather disappointed by the strippers but I'll go into greater detail on that at a later date. The wedding itself was good. The bride looked radiant and we, the wedding party, looked damn good ourselves. Nobody in the wedding party hooked up, even though there was one close call. Christina (the bride) jokingly said that they needed to have another wedding so that someone could hook up. I didn't really try all that hard, but it almost did happen. It didn't help that all the bridesmaids were either too young or, as CP put it, below a 6. I will say that for someone who isn't legal yet, Gabe's sister Ashley (at least I think that's her name) is pretty cute. Ok, now that I'm becoming a dirty old man, I'll stop at that. The trip was excellent even if I did fall off the wagon again. It did reinforce some bad thoughts in me again, so I'll definitely not be doing alot of heavy drinking in the future. It didn't help that I only took my meds sporadically during the trip. Stupid time changes. It also didn't help that we were all over the place during the trip and that I didn't take my meds with me to all those places. Well, I'll tell the doc about that when I see him tomorrow and hopefully things will get back on track. So we'll see how the rest of the week ends up. I definitely want to find a place when I head down to Clemson so I can get started on that part of my life. I shouldn't have too many problems on that hand. I even tried to get in touch with some people today, but that didn't work out too well. I'll try tomorrow and hopefully I'll have better success with that. That way, by the time the weekend rolls around, I can have things more or less settled. And just one more thing: I'd like to publicly thank everyone who has put up with me since the end of school that list includes:
I think that's everyone. Let me know if you feel slighted by not being on the list and I can add you to it. But I'd like to give a big thanks to all these people for letting me stay at their place while I'm in this transition period. It's made things a whole lot easier to endure with. I'm not sure when the next time I'll have access to a computer will be. When that time comes up, maybe I'll put up a more detailed version of the events of the past week. If I don't, then bug me to do it until I do.
